BRUNA LOPES

Bruna Lopes was born in São Paulo, Brazil.  Daughter of our very own Dione Lopes, Bruna began to study dance at a very early age at various prestigious schools.  These schools include the Stelian Ballet Studio, the Dione Lopes Dance Studio, Roseli Rodrigues, and Cadencia Academy of São Paulo.  In 2001, Bruna moved to the United States and studied at the Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL.  She studied many dances such as Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap Dance, Country, Contemporary, Modern Dance, Flamenco, Street Dance, African Dance, and more.  Bruna participated in several festivals throughout Brazil and the United States. In 2006, she began to study Biological Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas. There she became very involved with the University’s Contemporary Dance Club. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, and has since moved back to the United States.  Now, as a dance teacher, Bruna continues to share her passion for dance and choreography at the Dione Lopes Dance & Fitness in Boca Raton, FL.
